Piešťany á la Mr. Winter

You can discover Piešťany through the eyes of Ľudovít Winter on Saturdays, 11 October, 25 October, and 8 November 2025. The tour starts at 1:30 p.m. at the Colonnade Bridge, continuing with stops at the Kursalon, the Green Tree, the Crutch Breaker statue, the Thermia Palace Hotel, Pro Patria, and ending at the Eva swimming pool. The route is just under 2 kilometres long, and each walk lasts approximately 70 minutes.

An experiential tour with memories of the indomitable businessman Ľudovít Winter in headphones and performances by actors in historical costumes on the streets of Piešťany. Unique format of Piešťany á la Mr. Winter stands between a dramatic work and a guided walk. It is based on the memoirs of a man who, at the age of 20, began to build the name of the Piešťany spa and did not ease in his efforts even when he returned from a concentration camp with failing health.

Each tour participant will receive headphones. The deposit for rental of headhones is 20 euros (payable in cash on the spot). This money will be refunded to the participants after the end of the tour on the basis of the return of undamaged headphones.
